Plein Air

Gathering ideas  and places for painting Plein Air is easy. You don't have to travel too far, great subject matter can be found in your own back yard.
Simple garden settings can often provide you with the opportunity to paint all day, as well as produce magical paintings.  Gardens give different light with the changing seasons as do landscapes. The changing colours of the leaves and flowers and seasons will ensure you have plenty of subject matter to choose form.
Paint on your own or in a group. Either way your  you will learn to see your subject and colour combinations in more simplictic forms. Your work will improve noticeably.
Plein Air painting offers extraordinary benefits to your progress as an artist,  increase your observation skills, and  awareness.

Paint in the morning or in the evening, when shadows can often look exceptional.
A scenic view from a seaside town, a cafe, the landscape will all be excellent subjects for your painting.
If you have to complete your painting back in the studio.take some photographs as references, these are helpful to add finishing touches
